We truly care about our customers and are serious about protecting their identity and personal information.

Our Privacy Policy applies to the personal information we collect at festivals and trade-shows, through our website at www.wuxly.ca, and through our customer interactions at our Showroom. We consider our customers to be part of the family and understand their concern about privacy, so we have posted this privacy policy to inform you what personal information we collect, how this information is treated, and the choices you have regarding our use of your information, and how you may access your personal information.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect when we participate at trade-shows and festivals, through our website located at www.wuxly.ca, and through our customer interactions at our Showroom.

SECTION 1 - COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION


You can browse at our booth at tradeshows/festivals, on our Website or at our Showroom without giving any personal information.

We may collect personal information when you:

  • Purchase, order, return or exchange merchandise
  • Sign up for our newsletter, mailing list or any other marketing communications
  • Register on our Website
  • Apply for employment
  • Participate in one of our promotions, contests, trade-up programs or to respond a survey
  • Submit a comment or question to customer service via e-mail or visit our customer service desk at our Showroom

    PURCHASES AND ORDERS:

    You do not have to provide us with any Personal Information when you purchase products and services for cash at our booths in trade shows and festivals, and at our Showroom. For the purposes of our Privacy Policy, Personal Information includes, without being limited to, name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.

    If you use a debit or credit card for any of your purchases, we collect your debit or credit card-related information and signature for the purposes of processing and administering your payment. We also collect your billing and shipping address, telephone address, email address and special instructions (if provided) in order to deliver the products you ordered.

    EXCHANGES AND RETURNS:

    When you return or exchange previously purchased merchandise at our Showroom, you may be asked to give your name, address, and phone number. For merchandise returns where a customer receives a refund on a debit or credit card, we will collect and use debit and credit-related information to process and administer the refund transaction.
     

    MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS:

    When you sign up to receive our newsletter, look books or other promotional communications via email, we may collect personal information such as your first and last name, email and/or mailing address (depending on method of delivery) and interests in order to provide you with the service you requested.

    ONLINE REGISTRATION:

    Some of the features available on our Website (such as being able to follow-up with your order) may require you to register. When you register, we collect your first and last name, email address and a password that you select in order to provide and otherwise administer the service you requested. At the time you register online, we may ask your permission to send you future marketing information from Wuxly Movement or its marketing partners.     EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT WUXLY MOVEMENT:

    We may advertise employment opportunities on our Website. In connection with a job application or related inquiry, you may provide us with certain personal information about yourself (such as that contained in a resume, cover letter, or similar employment-related materials). We use this information to process and respond to your application for employment or related inquiry.

    When you enter a contest, participate in a promotion, trade-up program, or respond to one of our surveys, we may collect your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. We use this information to administer your participation in the contest, promotion and/or trade-up program and, for surveys, to understand our customers and enhance our product and service offerings, promotions and events.     When you submit a comment or question to customer service via e-mail, or when you visit a customer service desk at our Showroom, we may collect personal information such as your name, e-mail or mailing address and/or a phone number in order to respond to your comment or question. We also collect various types of information that you provide in order to allow us to answer your question.

      However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.       In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us.       Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Service.

      When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

      SECTION 6 - SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

       

      We realize that our customers trust us to protect their personal information. We take that task seriously. We have implemented measures in an effort to safeguard the personal information in our custody and control, including only providing access to personal information to employees and authorized service providers who require such information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of personal information in our custody and control.

      To provide you with an increased level of security, online access to certain personal information may be protected with a password you select. We strongly recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone. Wuxly Movement will never ask you for your password in any unsolicited communication.

      Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

      PAYMENT:

      If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

      All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

      Notwithstanding the foregoing, you should be aware that, unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be secure. As a result, Wuxly Movement does not represent, warrant or guarantee that personal information will be protected against loss, misuse or alteration and does not accept any liability for personal information submitted by you, nor for your or third parties' use or misuse of personal information.

      Below are some recommendations to help ensure that your online shopping is safe.

      • If you use a public computer, always close your session when you are done.
      • Do not disclose your passwords. Remember that somebody who knows your password can access your account.
      • When you create a password, use at least 8 characters – a combination of letters and numbers is the best. Don't use dictionary words, your name, your e-mail address or any other personal information that can be easily obtained. It is also recommended to change your password often. If you need help, visit the "Login" page, click on "Change password" tab.
      • Use a different password for your different accounts online.
      • Beware of unsolicited e-mails and unsolicited phone calls.

      In addition, Wuxly Movement will never contact you to ask you information about your credit card number or bank account. Information like this should be sent to Wuxly Movement only when you do a transaction, by contacting Wuxly Movement directly or by modifying your account online. If you receive a suspect e-mail with a link to update the information on your account, do not click on this link. Go directly into your account on www.wuxly.ca.

      If a stranger contacts you, sends you an unsolicited email or asks you to confirm or give your password or personal or banking information, ignore the request and contact us immediately.

      For security reasons and to prevent fraud, orders paid by credit cards through this website will be accepted by Wuxly Movement only if the billing name and address match the name and address on the credit card of the buyer. If the information does not match, your order will be refused, even if the transaction was pre-authorized by your bank. In that case, the amount of the order will be available for use only when the credit will be back in your account. This can take from three to five business days.

      SECTION 7 - ABOUT CHILDREN

       

      CHILDREN UNDER 13:

      You can browse our Web site, but you cannot make a purchase. You also cannot become a registered user, or use any service that asks for personal information. Our site is not designed for children. We do not wish to collect personal information from children under 13. This policy is designed to protect children.

      If you register with us and we discover that you are under 13, we will delete your registration information. We will send you an email message if we do this. If you are under 13 and want to make a purchase, please ask a parent to place the order for you.
