Wully Outerwear announces rebrand to Wuxly Movement

New brand name elevates awareness of the company’s animal-free fashion movement

TORONTO, August 10th, 2018 (wuxly.com) –– Wully Outerwear, a made in Canada premium animal-free outerwear company, today announces a rebrand to Wuxly Movement. The name change reflects the company’s growth and its larger mission towards an ethical, cruelty-free fashion industry.

The new name allows the company to distinguish itself as more than a premium outerwear company, growing as innovators while leading a movement focused on preserving wildlife and creating sustainable fashion.

“More important than any of our jackets is the message behind them and we feel we are leading a movement. As our brand continues to evolve, we feel now is the best time to incorporate this mindset into our name,” said James Yurichuk, co-founder and CEO, Wuxly Movement.

Anthony DeBartolo, co-founder and COO, also added, “We are excited to take this new step as our brand grows and we become ambassadors for a worthy cause. Wuxly Movement is about creating change from the norm of what you see with winter apparel – many people still wearing down-filled parkas with fur trims. This name change is another chapter in our story, giving people around the world a sustainable alternative to staying warm.”

When deciding on the new name, Wuxly Movement consulted its most loyal supporters, friends, and mentors and received an encouraging response.

With the announcement of their new name, Wuxly Movement also releases a new slogan – Live Warm. – which encourages all people, not just customers, to live warm through positive choices and actions. The company also relocated their House of Design to the creative and forward-thinking fashion hub of Queen Street West in Toronto, overlooking Trinity Bellwoods Park.
