Winter Parka Jackets for Women

Design and Performance

  • With a design team based in the fashion hub of downtown Toronto, Canada, they build off a rich history of premium Canadian outerwear while staying ahead of the curve. The result? Designs that are timeless, yet progressive. The benefits of an animal-free product are more than just ethical. One thing that may surprise some is that our animal-free insulation used in their jackets outperforms traditional down-filled jackets – holding 98% heat retention, compared to 0% for down. Wuxly uses military grade Primaloft Gold Insulation, licensed only to select companies worldwide. They have field-tested Wuxly products in all 13 provinces and territories of Canada, and around the globe. Wuxly vegan jackets allow you to be both stylish and warm, even in the harshest of conditions.

Commitment to Animals

  •  The conservation and respect of animals are always at the forefront of the Movement. There are no animals used or exploited throughout the entire production process. With more than 5 years of research and development, Wuxly was able to find advanced weather fabrics that can outperform fur and down. They also work with animal charities throughout North America to support their efforts in saving and rehabilitating wildlife.

Fair Labour

  • Wuxly believes in the safety and livelihood of their workers– that’s why they make fair labor practices mandatory along all levels of the supply chain. Wuxly's manufacturing facilities implement some of the highest labor standards on the market, and their local production allows them to work with and give back to their community, including supporting those with multi-barriers to employment.

Sustainability

  • The Earth is our home, and at Wuxly they ensure it's treated it that way. When selecting fabrics, they gravitate towards those that provide top performance and minimal ecological impact. The local production limits the carbon footprint, and their commitment to reducing CO2 emissions further supports wildlife. Wuxly proudly sources their VeganTech Shells from a 100-year old company in Montreal, Quebec. Every ounce of water that leaves the facility is clean, after being tested and treated for any water pollution. Plus, they use the heat from the dying process to help power the facility. As you can tell, they’re on a constant mission to make their production, products, and packaging as green as possible.

Our Story

  • The idea of Wuxly Movement first came about in 2012 when James Yurichuk, a former professional football player, moved back to Toronto from the West Coast of Canada. As a lover of wildlife, he was searching for an animal-free and Canadian-made winter coat for him and his wife, who was immigrating from South America. After searching to no avail, this need sparked the idea to create a jacket that was both stylish and warm, while also being completely Canadian-made and animal-free. James approached his best friend of 25-years, Anthony DeBartolo – a 3rd generation Master Tailor – with the idea to help bring it to life. Shortly thereafter, Wuxly Movement was born and continues to offer the alternative for staying warm in Canada, and around the world, to this day.
